Smedegaard conforms with the EuP directive concerning circulators

SimFlex now in Energy Class A
To meet the increased requirements for energy conservation and reduction of CO emissions the self regulating SimFlex Range pump has been further enhanced with an entirely new permanent magnet motor technology allowing low RPM. From January 2013 the EU has legislated that all wet running circulators installed in central heating systems must be Energy Class A. Smedegaard SimFlex A models are all in accordance with these new requirements.

Motors with low rpm
The construction of the new SimFlex A pumps is based upon 60 years of experience in the manufacture of circulators with low
rpm, which in operation ensures longer life, quieter operation and low energy consumption.

All signals are integrated - no extra modules are necessary
The new SimFlex A models are supplied as standard with the most common forms of control such as, 0-10 volt
signal, start-stop signal, alarm.

Rapid adjustment of capacity
The capacity is set automatically and adjusts to the required system needs. The new motor and inverter technology ensures rapid adjustment of the pump operating point which provides extra energy savings.

Simple operation
All programming and adjustments are done using of the blue control knob situated on the terminal box. No complicated programming is required.

Return on investment
With a new SimFlex A pump savings up to 80% are possible compared to a standard pump and the price of the new SimFlex A pump gives a relatively quick return on investment.

Energy labeling
As a member and with agreement of the Europump manufacturers Association Smedegaard is energy labeling the circulators.

The labelling is very much alike the existing arrangement used for refrigerators and other appliances.

The classification of the circulators is from A to G, were A is the most- and G the least energy effective circulator.

 -circulators have at least 60% energy saving compared with a average standard circulator.

 -circulators have between 40 and 60% energy saving.

 -circulators have between 20 and 40% energy saving.
